Get your students flying! Join the REC Foundation for a one-day, hands-on Aerial Drone Educator Workshop designed to prepare middle and high school teachers to launch and lead competitive Aerial Drone teams for the 2025–26 school year.

Hosted at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, this workshop will provide you with the tools, knowledge, and resources to confidently launch and lead your own Aerial Drone team throughout the competition season.

 What You’ll Receive From the Workshop:

  • Guidance on Drone Event Participation

  • Networking opportunities with fellow educators

  • Lunch Provided

Grant Items from REC Foundation:

  • 3 Team Registrations for the 2025–26 Aerial Drone Competition

  • Drone for your student team

  • Game and Field Elements

These items, valued at $3,500 are grant items from REC Foundation and will be sent to you after you complete your team registration on the REC Foundation website (www.recf.org). Grants are limited to new teams only

Eligibility Requirements - To qualify for equipment and registration incentives, participants must:

  • Be a middle or high school educator

  • Register 3 new student teams for the Aerial Drone Competition

  • Commit to participating in at least one drone event during the 2025–26 season

  • Attend the full workshop on August 12th at Rose-Hulman

Note: These grants are limited to new teams only

Lodging and mileage will not be covered
